Its purpose is not only to present information, but to create an environment in which speakers and participants can actively contribute to the learning process.
Experts & Emerging Talent
The meeting brings together recognized experts and experienced clinicians alongside talented young surgeons and residents who represent the future of the specialty. This combination of experience and emerging expertise supports a professional environment in which established knowledge can be discussed together with new perspectives, techniques and approaches.
Learning Through Connection
A central theme of the Congress is networked learning – the process of developing and maintaining meaningful connections with people and information, and communicating in ways that support shared learning. This philosophy places collaboration at the center of the meeting and encourages participants to learn not only from formal lectures, but also from discussion, questions, professional exchange and interaction with colleagues.
Science Into Practice
The programme is intended to connect scientific knowledge with practical application. State-of-the-art keynote lectures will be complemented by round-table discussions, debates, case-based exchange, practical video presentations and other scientific formats. Audience participation is an important part of this approach, including opportunities for interaction and voting during selected debates.
