ABOUT THE CONGRESS

A multidisciplinary forum for scientific knowledge and practical clinical exchange

The Congress is conceived as a multidisciplinary forum where participants can engage with developments across otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery while also exchanging practical clinical experience. Its purpose is not only to present information, but to create an environment in which speakers and participants can actively contribute to the learning process.

The meeting brings together recognized experts and experienced clinicians alongside talented young surgeons and residents who represent the future of the specialty. This combination of experience and emerging expertise supports a professional environment in which established knowledge can be discussed together with new perspectives, techniques and approaches.

Learning Through Connection

Networked learning places collaboration, discussion and shared professional exchange at the center of the meeting.

Science Into Practice

Keynotes, debates, case-based exchange and practical video presentations connect knowledge with clinical application.

WELCOME MESSAGE

Welcome to Skopje

Dear Participants and Esteemed Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the 5th National Congress of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, with international participation, taking place in Skopje, North Macedonia, from 12 to 14 November 2026.

We are proud to create a meeting point for leaders and experienced professionals from the fields of laryngology, otology, audiology, rhinology and rhinoplasty, head and neck surgery, thyroid surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery and related areas. At the same time, the Congress places strong value on talented young surgeons, residents and future specialists whose knowledge, curiosity and professional development will shape the next generation of our field.

This multidisciplinary meeting is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, contemporary educational approaches and current developments in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. We aim to encourage meaningful interaction between speakers and participants through a programme that combines expert lectures with scientific discussions, challenging clinical cases, debates, practical presentations and other interactive educational formats.

The philosophy of the Congress is built around networked learning: creating and maintaining connections with people and information, sharing experience and communicating in ways that strengthen one another’s learning. We believe that the most valuable professional meetings are those that create lasting connections in addition to delivering high-quality scientific content.

We look forward to welcoming you to Skopje and to sharing three days of scientific exchange, professional dialogue and collegial collaboration.
